![]() ![]() The "bases" (adjusted bases) each gained a bit over 165k, which represents about 4.11% of what the "bases" started with before assigning those demons.įor an extra bit of messing around, all of those 19k or so demons dumped into just boost refill alone gets me up to 4,295,199 base mana refill and 566.730e18 total mana refill. Overall, the difference from those 9500 or so demons added to both boosts was that I ended up with about 6.24 times as much in each of the total stats. With a bit over 19k demons split in half between boost refill and boost power I see displayed on the exp shop screen:Ĥ,183,026 base mana refill & 4,144,515 base mana powerģ05.776e18 total mana refill & 180.494e18 total mana power ![]() Without demons assigned to anything (aside from the passive background bonus of 6,574 temp and 1,726 perm demons) I see displayed on the exp shop screen:Ĥ,017,779 base mana refill & 4,033,279 base mana powerĤ9.029e18 total mana refill & 28.941e18 total mana power That does sound very counter-intuitive for a so-called "base" value to really be more like an intermediary step between a hidden true base value (ie whatever stats you actually spent exp on) and the effective value calculated from bonuses. I had never looked into it to realize this myself, but with attention called to it I agree with you. If you're still getting an up to 40% bonus to your base stats from demons, that's a hefty bonus.Ī new player like me who didn't realize that demons contributed to base stats could easily have all or most of their demons stacked in one stat, look at their "base stats", compare it to the recommended stats and see that they're just barely above the recommended stats for a new challenge, then take it only to suddenly find themselves at 50-70ish% of that stat. I just beat Demon Master 1 and got the newbie conjuring demons trophy, so my demon to exp spent ratio is probably much higher than it generally will be later on. Especially if the character is frequently put into challenges where their weapon is taken away from them and replaced with a much weaker one that they have to rebuild somewhat from scratch. Generally in most games I've played the character's base stats are without any removable bonuses such as the one from weapons. The natural strength is the starting point, ie base stats, and the axe, ie demons, are the multiplier, ie bonus.
